Congratulations to Rick and Carol, two of our boarders who tied the knot in November. (With a boarder wedding in December last year and now this latest wedding, it's turning out that the ranch was aptly named!) Rick owns and runs a dog training and boarding facility and Carol has a business doing hair for television studios. You will often see them accompanied by their big red bloodhound.

Welcome to Rancho de la Cache who joined Courtship Ranch in the early fall. Since moving their beautiful Paso Finos here, we are enjoying the oppurtunity to learn more about this animated and talented breed. In another month I hope to be able to spot the difference between the Preformance and the Fino style of movement! Raul and Raffa are here almost everyday working with the horses. Be sure to say hello and introduce yourself and you are sure to be rewarded with one of their shy smiles. Owner Michelle is another riding mom so you won't see her here after 3:00 but catch her early in the day and you might just get a trail riding buddy. Keep an eye out for owners Martha and Jim, they aren't here as often. Besides being busy in the movie industry they also have horses at their own place. Welcome!

Christiane Holbrook and Robert Mann are our boarders who own the mustangs Pi and Ginny. They are often seen riding down to the Wash accompanied by one or more of their dogs Recently Christiane and Robert founded Inspired Vision Venture, Inc. a Southern California based physician coaching and retreat firm.  The focus of the firm is to help physicians and their staff to reconnect with their passion for healing while becoming more energized, effective and productive.

Health care professionals who participate in any of the Re-Inspired Practice programs experience a profound sense of personal well-being, deeper and more satisfying relationships with their patients and experience the joy of leading a committed practice team to excellence.

Christiane and Robert are currently remodeling their newly acquired ranch east of Temecula where starting in Spring 2011, they will be offering leadership retreats incorporating their previously wild, now very gentle mustangs as co-facilitators.

Whether you are an overworked physician or not, you might enjoy their FREE 7 Step Stress Remedy Course that you can instantly access at http://www.ReInspiredPractice.com

We are pleased to have La Vonne and Kate move to Courtship Ranch with their horses. Both these ladies were introduced to us when they attended a clinic here back in the early summer. Now La Vonne has bought her Lusitano, Belem, and her Standardbred, Blondie to live here. Kate has come with her 3 year old Lustitano/Standardbred cross, Justy. You will see them riding western, english, and driving! Welcome to the ranch.

Here at Courtship Ranch we are blessed to have so many interesting and creative people boarding with us.  You may have seen people in passing at the ranch but not know their names yet. We would like to introduce some of them to you.

Most of you already know Eve from seeing  her riding and grooming Angelo's horse, Bruce. But what you may not know is that Eve is responsible for reframing the Horse Show poster hanging in the bathroom. Thank you Eve for taking that upon yourself to fix. I might never have gotten around to it! Read on to find out more about Eve:

Eve Kessler has been making beautiful custom picture frames for over 25 years. Shadowbox frames, custom finishes, linen and museum conservation are specialties as well as simple, basic and affordable choices. She frames anything from newspaper clippings to fine art and everything in between including equestrian memorabilia.

In addition to framing, Eve paints portraits of horses. She captures the natural movement of the animal by working from photographs she takes of the horse at play. A detailed pencil sketch (usually multiple views) is done first, followed by watercolor. The painting is then custom framed in natural wood for you to enjoy for years to come.
